ottenham Hotspur defender Micky van de Ven has acknowledged that the team felt the absence of Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus during their 4–0 Champions League win over Copenhagen on Tuesday.
Kudus missed the game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium due to a minor injury, depriving Spurs of one of their most creative players.
“Mohammed Kudus is an unbelievable player and we missed him in the game against Copenhagen,” Van de Ven told Telecom Asia. “Hopefully, he will be fit for us at the weekend against Manchester United. He’s an important player for us, and I don’t know the details of his absence, but hopefully he should be back.”
Kudus has featured in 15 matches this season, contributing one goal and four assists, and is expected to play a key role when Spurs host Manchester United this weekend.
