Dutch Eredivisie outfit NAC Breda have shown interest in Ghanaian midfielder Kamal Sowah following his departure from Club Brugge.

The Ghana international agreed to mutually part ways with the Belgium giants after three years on January 16, 2024.

Sowah is expected to return to the Dutch Eredivisie before the January transfer window closes.

NAC Breda, managed by his former coach Carl Hoefkens, are preparing to offer the Right to Dream Academy graduate a deal.

Hoefkens signed the former Leicester City player for Club Brugge before working with him again during his loan spell at Standard Liege.

Sowah has often excelled under the manager with who he has a good working relationship, which is part of the reason for NAC Breda’s interest.

The Dutch club desperately need options on the flanks, and Sowah, who can also play in the middle, is deemed the right fit.

Sowah endured a tough spell at Brugge following the departure on Hoefkens and spent time on loan at Standard Liege and AZ Alkmaar.

He made 53 appearances for Brugge and scored two goals.
