Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has lauded Mohammed Kudus for his standout performance during West Ham’s match against his team.

Despite West Ham’s 3-0 loss to the Blues on Saturday, the Ghana international impressed with his display.

Chelsea secured the win at London Stadium thanks to goals from Nicolas Jackson and Cole Palmer, marking their second consecutive victory.

In his post-match comments, Maresca acknowledged the 23-year-old’s talent, highlighting the former Ajax and FC Nordsjaelland player’s efforts on the pitch.

“West Ham have some good players. They have Lucas Paquetá and other players, but Mohammed Kudus is a brilliant footballer,” Maresca told TNT Sports.

Kudus will aim to open his goal tally for the season when West Ham take on Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium for Matchday 5 on 28th September. The game is set to kick off at 14:00 GMT.
