Tragedy struck at Wasa Bawdie in the Amenfi East District of the Western Region when a gold buying agent, popularly known as Carry, was brutally murdered by suspected armed robbers.
According to reports, three men believed to be armed robbers stormed the gold shop on a motorbike, wielding sharp knives and a pistol. They attacked the victim in his office, butchered him, and fled with an undisclosed amount of money and gold.
The body of the deceased has since been deposited at the morgue for autopsy, while police have launched investigations into the incident.
