Former Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has called on the Black Stars to claim all six points in their upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.

Ghana will host Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, March 21, with kick-off set for 19:00 GMT, before traveling to Morocco to face Madagascar at the Grand Stade d’Al Hoceima on Monday, March 24, for their Matchday 6 encounter.

With the team’s recent performances falling short of expectations, Agyemang-Badu, a member of Ghana’s 2014 World Cup squad, has urged the players to stay focused and deliver victories in both fixtures.

“Operation six points. Chad and Madagascar must go down,” he declared in an interview with Sporty FM.

“If we can’t beat them, then we have no business going to the World Cup,” he added.

After four matches in the qualifiers, Ghana sits joint top of Group I alongside Comoros with nine points, having secured back-to-back wins against Mali and the Central African Republic (CAR) in their previous outings.

The Black Stars are aiming to qualify for their fifth FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
