Senior Media Officer at the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Ibrahim Sannie Daara beleives Kurt Okraku should have apologized for saying he cannot work with his enemies.

Having won the 2019 Ghana Football Association (GFA) presidential elections, Mr Okraku in an interview with Joy FM said he will not win an election and work with his enemies.

“I will not win an election and work with my enemies,” Oraku said.

“I will work with people who will believe in me and I know they can help me accomplish my quest,” he added.

This comment was fiercely criticized by the football fraternity and Sannie Daara speaking in an interview with Sporty FM said Kurt Oraku should have apologized for such remarks.

“Kurt Okraku should have publicly walked back on his ‘I won’t work with my enemies’ comment,” he said.

He further said that despite the disunity within the football fraternity, he will never criticize Kurt Okraku publicly.

“There is no way I will go public and criticise Kurt Okraku when I can advise him privately.”

Sannie Daara, a former Ghana Football Association (GFA) Communications Director also charged Kurt Okraku to unite the football fraternity.
