Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo has expressed the desire to lead AFC Bournemouth to Europe after an incredible run in the Premier League this season.

The Cherries are currently on an 11-game unbeaten run with the Ghanaian at the heart of everything positive for Bournemouth.

Bournemouth are seventh on the Premier League table, just a point away from fourth place Manchester City.

Semenyo, who scored in Bournemouth’s 5-0 victory over Nottingham Forest insists the Cherries have ambitions of playing in Europe but will take it game after game.

“We definitely do. We definitely look at the table and think there is a chance, but again, you don’t want to put pressure on the team like what the gaffer said, it is literally game after game,” he told the BBC.

“At any moment, we could lose games, and things start falling down so we are just taking it game after game.”

The Black Stars forward has netted seven goals and delivered three assists in the Premier League.

Reflecting on his latest strike, Semenyo said: “It’s funny because we scored the fourth one, and I said to Tarvenier I need to a get, and he said make the run, and I will play it to you and you will get your chance and happily that was what happy and it was the cherry on top.”
