A devastating fire outbreak occurred at Wasa Akropong in the Amenfi East Municipality of the Western Region, destroying a well-known drinking bar and restaurant called Cheers Pub. The incident happened around 2:00 a.m. and resulted in significant damage to the establishment, including refrigerators, television sets, spinning machines, and the kitchen.
According to an eyewitness, Leticia Boadiwaa, head of the workers at the drinking bar and restaurant, the fire caused extensive destruction, leaving nothing but ashes.
