
Ghana’s football community has rallied around Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku, celebrating his election to the Confederation of African Football’s (CAF) Executive Committee.
Leading the tributes are top clubs Asante Kotoko, Hearts of Oak, and Medeama SC, who have publicly applauded Okraku’s achievement.
Asante Kotoko kept it brief but impactful, stating, “Congratulations on being elected as @CAF_Online Executive Committee member.”

Hearts of Oak offered a more detailed tribute, saying, “Congratulations, Kurt Okraku! We extend our heartfelt congratulations on your election as a CAF Executive Committee member. This is a well-deserved recognition of your dedication, leadership, and tireless efforts in advancing football in Ghana and beyond.”

Medeama SC also joined in, emphasizing Okraku’s growing influence on the continent. “Big congrats to the GFA President, Kurt E. S. Okraku, on being elected as a member of the Executive Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF),” the club posted.

Beyond the Ghana Premier League giants, Division One League side Koforidua Semper Fi FC and several other clubs have also shared their admiration, recognising the significance of Okraku’s appointment in strengthening Ghana’s presence in African football leadership.



Okraku’s election marks a key moment for Ghanaian football, with expectations high that his role on the CAF Executive Committee will lead to greater development and representation for the country on the continental stage.
