Hearts of Oak legend, Mohammed Ahmed Polo, has taken a huge swipe at the club’s current head coach Aboubakar Ouattara stating with so much confidence that he can’t lead the club to any success
Polo prior to the start of the season, stated calling for the jettisoning of the Ivorian international as he feels he has nothing good to offer to his former club.
“A coach like Aboubakar Ouattara who can’t guarantee us a trophy doesn’t deserve to coach Hearts of Oak”, he said in an interview on Akoma FM.
Aboubakar Ouattara took over the ‘Phobians’ in the middle of last season as replacement for Dutch coach Martin Koopman and couldn’t make any significant changes having seen the club flirt around danger until they nipped on a final day win to narrowly survive relegation.
In the ongoing season, the Rainbow Club are currently on a two-game losing streak having shockingly fall to newbies Basake Holy Stars and against Heart of Lions over the weekend.
With so much pressure on the team to redeem themselves and up the ante, Hearts of Oak will host Bechem United in match-day 3 of the Ghana Premier League.
