
Berekum Chelsea coach Samuel Boadu has taken a swipe at referee Mawuli Klu and his assistance despite his outfit securing victory over Medeama in the Ghana Premier League.
The Bibires ended the first half of the Premier League campaign on a good note, inflicting a 2-1 win over the Yellow and Mauve at the Golden City Park on Sunday.
Experienced forward Stephen Amankona gave Chelsea the lead on the stroke of halftime with a well-taken goal, putting the home side in control going into the break.
Medeama, however, fought back and were rewarded in the 89th minute when they won a penalty, calmly converted by Mubarik Yussif to level the game.
However, Chelsea stunned the two-time FA Cup champions with a 90+9-minute winner. Zakaria Fuseini found the back of the net deep into added time, sending the home fans into raptures and securing all three points for the hosts.
“I’m satisfied with the three maximum points but officiating was really bad. I don’t complain about officiating but this time around, I’m complaining. The FA can sanction me, I don’t mind”
