Former Executive Council member of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Wilfred Osei Kweku Palmer has called for support for the Black Stars ahead of the resumption of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
The four-time champions will take on Chad and Madagascar in the Matchday five and six games of the qualifiers in March later this year.
After poor performances in the concluded Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers, Osei Palmer says the team will need the support of the entire country to qualify for the Mundial which will be hosted in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
“Let’s all come together and rally behind the Black Stars because we have an assignment ahead of us,” he told Asempa FM.
“I believe that we all want to qualify for the 2026 World Cup so we all come together and rally behind the team to qualify,” he added.
Ghana, who sit on the second spot after four matches played are tied with 9 points group leaders Comoros.
