Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo has described their upcoming game against Madagascar like a small final.

Ghana will be hosted at the Barea tonight at the Al Hoceima Grand Stadium tonight in the Matchday six games of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers with kick-off scheduled at 19:00 GMT.

“We need everyone to be on their toes. We don’t need 98%, we don’t need 99%, we need 100%,” Addo told the Ghana FA media

“This [game against Madagascar] is like a small final and if we win this game, then we really going towards to qualify but it’s going to be very tough.

“We observed the Madagascar team and they have done really well especially in their last game so they are in good form and it’s going to be a tough game,” he added.

After the resounding victory against Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium, Ghana now sit top of Group I with 12 points and will hope to keep the momentum as they head into the game against the Malagasy.
