Medeama SC have confirmed the amicable departure of head coach Nebojsa Kapor following the expiration of his one-year contract.

The Bosnian tactician, who joined the Mauve and Yellows in December 2023, leaves after failing to reach an agreement with the club on a contract renewal.

During his tenure, Coach Kapor, 38, brought about notable progress in Medeama SC’s performance, particularly in the Ghana Premier League.

His leadership was marked by a significant transformation in the team’s tactical approach, resulting in competitive displays and memorable victories throughout the season.

Kapor’s contributions have played a key role in solidifying Medeama’s reputation as one of Ghana’s top-tier football clubs.

In a statement, Medeama expressed gratitude to the outgoing coach for his dedication and efforts over the past year.

The club acknowledged the positive strides made under his guidance and wished him the very best in his future endeavours.

As the club looks ahead, technical director Augustine Evans Adotey has been appointed to take interim charge of the team until a new substantive head coach is named.

The club remains committed to building on the progress achieved during Kapor’s time, as they prepare for future challenges in the domestic and continental competitions.
