Spiritual leader and cultural advocate Maame Grace has officially launched Oshun Day, a festival dedicated to celebrating the spiritual and cultural significance of the river goddess Oshun. As part of her mission to promote spiritual tourism and heritage preservation, she is petitioning the government to designate March 14 as the First World Copper Moon Festival, a global event aimed at honoring divine feminine energy, water deities, and African spiritual traditions.
According to Maame Grace, the festival will serve as a platform to connect people with their ancestral roots, encourage cultural exchange, and boost tourism. She believes recognizing this day on an international scale will not only highlight Africa’s rich spiritual history but also create economic opportunities through tourism and cultural activities.
She is calling on policymakers and stakeholders to support this initiative, emphasizing its potential to position the country as a leading destination for spiritual and heritage tourism.
