{"id":4005,"date":"2024-08-29T02:14:49","date_gmt":"2024-08-29T02:14:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sbmediaonline.com\/?p=4005"},"modified":"2024-08-29T02:14:50","modified_gmt":"2024-08-29T02:14:50","slug":"arsenals-eddie-nketiah-expresses-willingness-to-represent-ghana-at-international-level","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sbmediaonline.com\/?p=4005","title":{"rendered":"Arsenal&#8217;s Eddie Nketiah expresses willingness to represent Ghana at international level"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" src=\"https:\/\/uwordpressmedia.blob.core.windows.net\/uwordpressmedia01\/2024\/08\/65024940.295.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4006\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>English footballer of Ghanaian descent Eddie Nketiah has opened the door for a possible commitment to the Black Stars, stating that he is open to playing for Ghana.<br><br>The Arsenal striker has been on the radar of the Ghana Football Association, who reportedly held multiple meetings with him and his parents about playing for Ghana.<br><br>The door appeared to have been shut when Eddie Nketiah was called up by former England coach Gareth Southgate in August 2023.<br><br>The striker has, however, been overlooked by England as he has found game time hard to come by at Arsenal.<br><br>In a recent interview, the 25-year-old striker spoke about his Ghanaian heritage and indicated his readiness to play for Ghana or England.<br><br>\u201cObviously, my parents are both Ghanaians, and I\u2019m from a Ghanaian heritage.
