Zuckerberg detailed how senior administration officials leaned on the company to censor certain posts about Covid-19, including humor and satire, and \u201cexpressed a lot of frustration\u201d when the social media platform resisted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI believe the government pressure was wrong, and I regret that we were not more outspoken about it,\u201d Zuckerberg wrote. \u201cI feel strongly that we should not compromise our content standards due to pressure from any Administration in either direction \u2014 and we\u2019re ready to push back if something like this happens again.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zuckerberg also expressed regret for essentially hiding content related to coverage by the New York Post about Hunter Biden ahead of the 2020 election that the FBI warned may have been rooted in a Russian disinformation operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s since been made clear that the reporting was not Russian disinformation, and in retrospect, we shouldn\u2019t have demoted the story,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Republicans on the committee, led by Ohio Rep.
