They failed to pay a \u00e2\u201a\u00ac150,000 fine from CAS after losing a case concerning the registration of Joseph Paintsil. When you don\u2019t pay fines, points are deducted. That\u2019s standard procedure,\u201d Asante Twum explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He clarified that Tema Youth&#8217;s argument over Paintsil\u2019s registration lacked merit, leading to the CAS ruling. \u201cTema Youth claimed Paintsil should have reverted to them after Red Bull Academy dissolved, but his official transfer had already occurred,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Asante Twum emphasised that the GFA followed due process, rejecting Palmer\u2019s claims of foul play. \u201cThere was no conspiracy. The rules are clear\u00e2\u20ac\u201dfailure to pay fines results in sanctions.
