A new report from the Institute of Energy Security (IES) has revealed that fuel prices in Ghana will fall within the month of August.

According to the report, favorable conditions in the international market will dictate this new change.

This was revealed in a statement released by the agency on Tuesday, July 30th.

According to IES research analyst Adam Yakubu, the slowed depreciation of the Ghana cedi and a positive outlook on the foreign fuel market will drive prices down.

The agency thus predicted a fuel price drop between 2% and 4% for the month of August.

Currently, Gasoline is selling at GH₡14.23 per litre with (LPG) selling at GH₡15.22 per kilogram (kg).
