Black Stars forward Osman Bukari has returned to the United States to resume pre-season with MLS side Austin FC.

The 26-year-old arrived in Texas over the weekend to begin preparations ahead of his first full season with the club.

Bukari joined his teammates for the first training session at the St David’s Performance Centre on Saturday.

The Verdes will spend six weeks for pre-season before their opener against Sporting Kansas City on February 22.

The former Red Star Belgrade winger has high hopes for the upcoming campaign.

“Just getting started. Hopes high for the new season. Let’s go Verde! Alhamdullilah for everything!” wrote Bukari on social media.

Meanwhile, Austin FC will play seven pre-season matches with two of those in Florida against New England Revolution and Charleston Battery.

Bukari and his teammates will then engage champions LA Galaxy, St Louis and Charlotte FC before rounding up preparations against Nashville.

The Ghana international joined Austin FC last year from Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade as a Designated Player.
