Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, has praised Black Stars skipper, Jordan Ayew, for his selflessness during Ghana’s FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.
The Leicester City striker led the team to demolish Chad 5-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium before crashing Madagascar 3-0 in the Matchday five and six games of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
While commending the team for their commitment on the pitch, Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe was happy with Ayew’s unselfish play, which significantly contributed to Ghana’s emphatic 5-0 victory.
“They played like a team, and for once, I saw Jordan Ayew play selflessly,” the Hearts of Oak Board Member and former Ghana Football Association (GFA) chairman told Graphic Sports.
“He created space and distributed the ball well, which was wonderful. Before, he used to hold on to the ball too much, but this time, we didn’t see that,” Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe stated.
Having scored against Chad, last week Friday, Jordan Ayew grabbed a hat trick in Black Stars’ win against Madagascar on Monday night.
Ayew has four assists and five goals to his credit in the ongoing qualifiers.
