The Bibiani Municipal Education Office in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai District of the Western North Region has suffered severe damage following a sudden heavy downpour.

The rainfall flooded the premises and destroyed essential educational materials and equipment critical to operations in the area.

Speaking on the situation, Donald Acquah, the Human Resource Officer at the Bibiani Municipal Education Office, outlined the extent of the losses.

According to him, the flood damaged valuable educational assets, including laptops, printers, and teachers’ documents.

Important administrative records and files were also impacted by the floodwaters, causing significant setbacks for the office.

Mr. Acquah took the opportunity to appeal for help, urging authorities and philanthropists to assist in relocating the education office to a safer, more suitable building.

He also emphasized the urgent need for improved infrastructure to prevent future flooding and protect educational resources in Bibiani.
