
Berekum Chelsea tactician Samuel Boadu says he is ready to face the Ghana Football Association wrath after criticizing officiating in his outfit victory over Medeama in the Ghana Premier League.
The Bibires ended the first half of the Premier League campaign on a good note, inflicting a 2-1 win over the Yellow and Mauve at the Golden City Park on Sunday.
Speaking after the game, the former Hearts of Oak trainer expressed his displeasure with the performance of referee Mawuli Klu and his assistance.
“I’m satisfied with the three maximum points but officiating was really bad. I don’t complain about officiating but this time around, I’m complaining. The FA can sanction me, I don’t mind”
“We all talk about the beauty of the game but how can football be beautiful with this officiating? He quizzed.
“I don’t want to know the name of the referee and his assistance but if they continue to do this, they will collapse Ghana football”
Experienced forward Stephen Amankona gave Chelsea the lead on the stroke of halftime with a well-taken goal, putting the home side in control going into the break.
Medeama, however, fought back and were rewarded in the 89th minute when they won a penalty, calmly converted by Mubarik Yussif to level the game.
However, Chelsea stunned the two-time FA Cup champions with a 90+9-minute winner. Zakaria Fuseini found the back of the net deep into added time, sending the home fans into raptures and securing all three points for the hosts.
Berekum Chelsea finished the first round of the Premier League opn the 10th position with 22 points.
