Asante Kotoko striker, Kwame Opoku has revealed that the club is targeting winning the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League title. 

After a shaky start, the Porcupine Warriors have turned around their fortunes and are currently without a defeat in seven games.

Kotoko ended the first round of the season on the 3rd spot with 31 points.

Speaking on their chances of annexing the Premier League title, Opoku, who has so far scored five goals in four games said they aim to lift the ultimate.

“Every big club aims to win the Premier League title and that is our aim,” he told Asempa FM.

“We want to win the Premier League at the end of the season and that is our target,” he added.

Asante Kotoko will get their second round of the season with a home game against relegation-threatened Karela United in the Matchday 18 games at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, January 28.
